COURSE DESCRIPTION

Duolingo English Test is a computer-adaptive proficiency test.

It tests the four core English Language skills-Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
Duolingo English Test can be taken from home on demand, without any appointment.

The test duration can be anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the English proficiency of the candidate.

The test also integrates a video interview and a writing sample, which are sent to the institution along with the proficiency score.

It costs $49 and the results can be obtained in 48 hours. They can be shared with an unlimited number of institutions for free.

The test scores candidates on a scale from 10-160.

Higher the score , higher the English proficiency level

The universities may generally require a score of 120+ but a score of 100+ may be considered acceptable in some cases.
